There is a brave new URD out there,  and it has just become version 1.9.

There is quite a substantial changelog this time including a couple of usability improvements, style updates, bug fixes, and a few new features.

The main changes are:

• Browse pages add more data when scrolling to the end of the page
• Updated the way previews are shown is user interface
• par2 (correcting incomplete downloads) now also works when the archive files have been renamed
• Store Usenet server password encrypted in the database
• Ajaxified the preferences and configuration pages
• Preferences will now be automatically saved after editing

Also notice that does not support any version of php before 5.3.0 anymore.
